Make Your Own Light-Saber

I love the “How Stuff Works” web site. Hat Tip to Boortz for pointing me to this great article. Howstuffworks “How Lightsabers Work”
Apparently, most of the components are pretty easy to come by and with some time and skill, you could make your own. :)

    the polycarbonate tube-EL wire sabers are a lot of fun. they are duel quality, the kids and I play with these all the time. I really like this site.thecustomsabershop.com has some nice photos and a tutorial on making them. cheaper than the pro sabers, and actually fun, not just a shelf piece, I love them.
