Madeleine Albright: Democrats Are Going To Blame Bush “Forever”
I’ll not paint a rosy picture of George W. Bush’s term in office. Bush was the President who said we had to destroy capitalism in order to save it. He was the originator of the bank and auto bailouts. Government stimulus spending was his idea first; remember the “stimulus checks”?
Just as Franklin Roosevelt took Herbert Hoover’s approach to economic rescue and put it on steroids, Obama has taken bad ideas from the Bush administration and did them himself. Only more so. And after adding in a whole bunch of bad ideas of his own.
But we’re not talking about reality here. We’re talking about politics, and in politics the Democrats plan on blaming George W. Bush “forever” according to former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright:
Finger pointing may make for good politics, but it makes for pretty poor leadership.
