NOW, DEBATES don’t decide anything, especially the vice presidential debate. They’re not even real debates. From the first primary debate onward, these spectacles have only been opportunities for candidates to expand on the slogans they bandy about on the campaign trail.
As for polls, well they also don’t decide anything either.

Trouble is Bob, there just are going to be people who don’t make as much as others, single moms, singles, hell even some married.
Does this mean that they should live beyond what they can afford? No.
Does that mean some do? Yes.
Does that mean the rest of us should have to pay for what others cannot afford but buy even though they can’t afford it? No. But we get saddled with the costs anyways – like this bail out.
Sometimes the less skilled need to work more than one job to make ends meet.

I concede that Biden did win the debate, but the Fox news poll was spammed. I was surfing the website that did the majority of it. 4chan.org, an anonymous-post imageboard, that gets thousands and thousands of daily hits gets kicks out of screwing around on the internet, and one of the things they frequently do is spam websites, including polls that the majority on the site disagree with.
It’s rather harmless in most senses (Search “Oprah Winfrey 9000 penises” on youtube… that’s what they can convince people of), but there’s times like these when they actually make a difference.

Obama won the debate because the McCain and the Republican Party have made this a referendum on Obama and Obama has accepted the challenge.
Biden looked competent and knowledgeable. He looked like Obama made a good choice for veep.
Palin’s performance was pretty good, though irrelevant. The election isn’t about Palin, it is about Obama.

The problem is, Palin is not at the top of the ticket. McCain will debate on Tuesday, he’ll offre the nation another lackluster, cold, business like Washington-Speak appearance that will drive Palin out of the headlines and insure Obama’s victory in one month.
I do not understand the Obama phemonenon! He has no credentials, no executive experience, no real programs, only “I feel your pain” nonsense in all his advertisements and speeches; and yet America is voting for him. Lastly, why isn’t anyone raising the point that even if Obama, which he won’t, keeps his promise to only tax the rich, that these people will not eat the higher taxes, they will pass them on as higher prices for goods and services which is a hidden tax on everyone?

No doubt she is a better debater than Biden! Sarah Palin once again revived the McCain campaign. Clearly The McCain campaign must get going in order to change the complexion of this campaign in order to beat Obama. Sarah Palin has definately recharged the campaign after last nights debate. What is bad is the economy will be blamed on the Republicans even though the Dems have control of Congress. Barney Frank and his actions encouraging the bad loans will seemingly go unnoticed IF McCain continues to be meager towards Barney Frank and the Dems accountability for it this will be bad news for Conservatives and Great news for Dems. The FOX poll was a text message poll. It is no secret that Barry’s supporters are primarily younger people and younger people tend to be more likely to use Text Messaging. So to be honest one can conclude that Joe won the debate among those who text message frequently. Being in my 50′s I use text messaging to make contact with my kids, but beyond that I could care less for the technology. So I’ll concede that younger people have declared Joe the winner on the FOX text poll. For what that’s worth we can only determine on November 5.
