Lib Ladies Lament as Rice Goes Under the Bus

Palestinain women funeral

Speaking of “sexism” and the poor, misunderstood liberal females of Washington, DC, the cacophony of shrieking and wailing and gnashing of teeth coming out of the nation’s capital this morning over Susan Rice’s “withdrawal” for the Secretary of State post is fast approaching the level of a Sunni funeral procession in Gaza. Minus the black burqas, of course. Here Andrea Mitchell breathlessly explains to Rachel Maddow the administration ladies’ anguish. While here Dem doyen Donna Brazile takes up the cry. More here, here, and here.

What’s interesting is that the anger is directed at Obama for not “supporting” Rice as much as it is at the Republican “angry white men” who questioned her integrity and truthfulness over the Benghazi terrorist attack that killed US Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. What remains unspoken but obvious, even to the Left, is the fact that she withdrew her name from consideration not out of some higher sense of honor, but because she was forced to do so by the Obama White House. Like Alice Palmer, Madelyn Dunham, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, Jim Johnson, Samantha Power, Wesley Clark, Rod Blagojevich, Bill Richardson, George Tenet, Van Jones, and David Petraeus before her, Susan Rice has been thrown under the bus for the sake of political expediency and the further political glorification of Barack H. Obama. Apparently, it never occurred to those on the Left that once the election was over he would do to one of their own what they had come to expect him to do to the rest of us. The truth about Benghazi must be frightfully ugly.

The House Committee can’t seem to find any of the Benghazi terrorist attack survivors, in order to interview them, not even any of the wounded ones. State is withholding that information. Funny.

I have heard that asked before and the reason given is that they are not talking is that they are all intellegence officers who have a need to remain anonymous. But the real scandal here is that the media simply doesn’t care about Benghazi. They have decided to go openly partisan for Obama and since there is no entity to hold them accountable, they get away with it.

I wonder if the “Lib Ladies” lamented as much over the four dead in Benghazi, to be livid at the lies that Rice told? Nah. That would be “partisan”.

Boo-hoo. She’ll continue in her role as UN Ambassador and continue to collect a nice cushy salary for what? Undermining the US whenever possible.

Talk I’ve heard is that she will be made National Security Advisor, a post which does not require Senate confirmation. Kerry will be a figurehead – which is about all he’s qualified to be (or ever has been!), Andrea Mitchell’s fulsome endorsement not withstanding. The real policy power will move from the Secretary of State’s office to Rice’s White House office.

      • SigFan

A very high probability. Somehow I can’t see even Obama being dumb enough to let Kerry run loose – and between Rice and Valerie Jarrett they can keep him on a short leash I’m sure.

BTW – Welcome back – good to see you’re still on your game.

If you read the Lib ladies’ laments carefully enough you’ll see that the lie being propagated with much sanctimony is that Rice is being blamed for Benghazi. Of course that isn’t the case at all. She’s being held to account for her dishonest insistence that the attack that killed 4 Americans was the result of a spontaneous street protest against an anti-Mohammed video trailer – a thoroughly outrageous falsehood. Notice too, that although there have been half a dozen explanations offered for that silly cover story, no one has yet identified who specifically gave Rice her script and marching orders… never mind a credible explanation for why Stevens was in Benghazi in the first place, or why no effort was made to support or rescue the Americans under attack by Islamist terrorists.

Just another woman under the obama bus. Say hello to Hillary

    • camsaure

At least liberals Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton just put them under the table instead of under the bus.

      • jl

And in Ted Kennedy’s case, under the water.

Grandstand while you can. The die-off is happening. No magic thinking, words, or agitprop from Brietfart gurus can stop time.

      Hi Buttfuckle.

How goes your war against wives too sick to suck your c*ck?

      Still dead, you say?

More gibberish! If you think Susan Rice being pulled from the line-up by her own manager is bad, just wait til that lying buffoon John Kerry steps to the plate,

The last thing Obama needs is Susan Rice at the Senate and under oath.

    • Bat One

I’m truly sorry to say this, but you’re projecting. The idea that Susan Rice, or any of Obama’s hand-picked inner circle, would be reluctant to lie under oath is ludicrous. Their contempt for the law, the Constitution, and the republican form of self-governance is well established.
