Legislator’s Wife Who Accused Him Of Domestic Violence Recanting Her Story?
Rep. Dave Weiler, a Republican from the Bismarck area, has been arrested for domestic violence twice and convicted once and is now the subject of a recall petition in his district.
In fact, based on his previous conviction, I called on Rep. Weiler to stepped down and said that I supported the recall effort.
But now comes news (as yet unconfirmed) that Weiler’s wife may have recanted her story.
I’m working on confirmation, stay tuned.
Update: I have confirmation from a second source that the rumors are indeed true and there’s been some sort of reversal in Rep. Weiler’s wife’s story, and that it happened weeks ago.
