Left-Wing Voter Registration Group ACORN Accused Of More Bogus Registrations

Nice…

CLAYTON, Mo. - Hundreds of fraudulent voter address changes have been submitted to St. Louis County election officials by ACORN, the activist group that has been criticized for its voter sign-up work elsewhere in the nation.

An ACORN official said it could be the fault of overzealous employees of the organization. . . .

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, founded in 1970, has run voter registration drives in Missouri and 16 other states this year. Similar allegations have been made in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Colorado, though no charges have been filed.

Meanwhile ACORN, backed by Democrats, has been forcefully opposed to anti-voter fraud measures across the nation.  Something that seems terribly ballsy to me.

For years now we’ve been hearing conspiracy theories from the left/media about the Diebold automated voting company and its connections to Republicans.  There has been endless media reports and television specials on the subject, and the name “Diebold” ranks right up there with “Halliburton” and “Enron” on the list of corporate entities the left hates most.  There are people out there on the left absolutely convinced that were it not for Diebold machines in Ohio (personally calibrated by Karl Rove, naturally) John Kerry would have won the election in 2004.

Yet here we have ACORN getting in all sorts of trouble for fraudulent voter registrations while simultaneously opposing, with open cooperation from Democrats, legislation to make elections more secure and there’s nary a peep about it from the media.  No 60 Minutes in-depth reports.  No Dateline segments.  No “special comments” on the topic from the likes of Keith Olbermann.  Which is absolutely amazing to me.

The Democrats’ collusion with ACORN to oppose voter fraud even as fraud allegations against ACORN mount is absolutely shameless.  If reporters were doing there job they’d be all over the story, but apparently they’re only interested in holding Republicans accountable for things like that.

so rob no mention of the fraud of the shared parenting initiative or the fraud of the entire set of three initiatives from the right wing in Montana that were thrown off the ballot even involving a signature gatherer from ND in Montana.  Your bias is obvious Rob.

In Florida not only were thousands of ACORN generated voter registration cards found to have been fraudulently filled out, with doctored or fake signatures and Social Security numbers, but thousands of Republican voter registration cards were deliberately withheld.  Florida felons were targeted by ACORN, and one former ACORN field director has stated that this was all part of a deliberate attempt to rig the outcome of the Florida presidential primary and a minimum wage ballot initiative.

In St. Louis, MO election officials determined that of the 5,379 registration cards submitted by ACORN, only 2,013 appeared to be valid, and of those, “at least 1,000 are believed to be attempts to register voters illegally.”

In Ohio, fraudulent cards were discovered in Franklin, Hamilton and Cuyahoga counties, and one ACORN employee was actually indicted for fraud in Columbus.

Similar stories of deliberate ACORN fraud have come from Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Arkansas, Minnesota, Colorado, North Carolina, Virginia, while those with longer memories will recall ACORN’s involvement with former Teamster’s Union President Ron Carey’s embezzlement scheme ($850,000) and ACORN Housing Corporation’s attempt to defraud the federal government’s AmeriCorps program of $1 million.

Perhaps its time to stop the charade of piety that surrounds ACORN. its Project Voter subsidiary, and the Democrats, and suggest that ACORN’s actual mission to turn in as many Democrat registrations as possible, legal or not.  The fraud isn’t incidental.  Its deliberate.  And ACORN itself should be the subject of a multi-state federal RICO investigation.

In Washington state, more people voted in the last election than were registered...false registrations enable fraud (and its cover up) in more ways than one.

And lets not forget the multiple counts of vote fraud unions have been convicted on, puzzledf**k. Don’t want you to feel leftout, have hurt feelings. ACORN is facing direct charges in multiple states, most of them bastions of the Democrat Party. Even your own partisians in the judicial system see ACORN as a detriment to the electoral process. Now you will have to depend solely on stealing votes through computer balloting. Poor baby.

2Hotel9,

I don’t know why I never noticed before, but the phrase you used referring to Puzzle, “left out,” seems extraordinarily appropriate.  I think I would capitalize the word “Left” just for emphasis, but nonetheless it is quite fitting.  Most satisfactory, Sir!

Then there is the slashing of the tires on the Republican Get Out The Vote vans…

Here is a prediction, if the Republican win both the house and senate we will hear about how the evil republicans stole the election and fixed voting machines. Its coming I predict. It will be like clock work. The Left tried doing this in Ohio.

First, what does fraud in collecting signatures for a ballot measure have to do with ACORN’s voter registration fraud?

Second, when the SPI signature collection fraud happened I posted on it.  More than once, in fact.  Search the archives if you don’t believe me.

Third, the SPI fraud was nothing more than a group of lazy temp workers who decided to make names up for the petition rather than beat the pavement.

I love your “YOU DID IT TOO!!!11!!” crap.  Totally mature.

When are you going to be an honest person and hold your side in this accountable for what they’re doing?  You Democrats complain about vote fraud after every single election, yet here’s a huge left-wing group getting caught with thousands of false registrations....and you Dems are working with this group to oppose anti-vote fraud legislation.

But rather than hold your side accountable, you want to bitch about ballot measures.

You’re a total clown.

By the way, if I remember right if a total of 5000 voters had switched their votes from Peanuts Carter to Mr. Excitement, Gerald Ford, Ford would have won.  (I think that would have turned 3 states).

Did the Republicans riot?  Claim they were cheated.

It’s funny how the Democrats ignore the full recount that the press did in Florida.  What’s really funny is that they can’t even believe it when they lose by over 100,000 votes in Ohio.

Buncha kooks.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

I remember all of those left wing blogs claiming Bush and Blackwell stole the election, 100,000 votes is a pretty wide margin. I predict there will be rioting in the street come November 9th.

The Dems are a bunch of sore losers.  The only time they won’t complain about voter fraud is when they win.
