Leadership: Obama Thanks Cabinet And Gives Shout Outs On Conference Before Addressing Ft. Hood

A tragedy that appears at this point to have been a coordinated attack by ranking officers on a US military base deserves a bit more gravitas than this:


After eight years of hearing the liberals both in and out of the media bemoan President Bush’s “My Pet Goat” moment (apparently they expected him to go charging out of that classroom with an M16 in his hands the moment he heard about 9/11) don’t expect them to breathe a word about this gaffe.

    The problem is that Obama has NO Leadership skills, and everything is about him. He is an egomaniac who has to be the center of attention. I’m sure that there are many in the Democratic party who just shiver every time he does something like this, but the problem is that they are unable to do anything about it. He has surrounded himself with sycophants who refuse to see him for the disaster he is. And those in his party who are outside his inner circle are afraid to say anything because the weight of the Chicago political machine will come down upon them and crush them into oblivion.

    The Cons had a fit when Obama was asked about a race issue and answered bringing attention to an issue about a policeman arresting a guy in his own home, because he had his fragile police ego bruised, but are up in arms when Obama doesn’t speak to another shooting.

    He shouldn’t have given a shout out…but expecting him to act like we have just have just been attacked is beyond absurd. Shootings happen all the time as it’s now a part of our culture.

    He gave it the correct amount of attention, but he was too light hearted in the beginning.
