Labeling A Stooge A Stooge
As regular readers can probably tell, we here at Say Anything aren’t exactly fans of North Dakota Senator Kent Conrad. We feel the guy is the consummate political hack. He has long since abandoned all but the most basic pretenses of representing North Dakota, having long ago set up permanent residence on the east coast only choosing to return to the state he claims to be from to campaign, pose for photo ops and schmooze with his friends in the media.
So it’s no surprise that when my co-blogger The Whistler writes something about Conrad he accompanies the post with a picture of Larry Fine of Three Stooges fame. Because Fine bears a passing resemblance to Conrad and, well, Conrad is a stooge.
What’s amusing is that Whistler has done this so often, if you do a Google image search for Kent Conrad among the first page of results is…a picture of Larry Fine. The very picture Whistler uses.
Is this important or meaningful? No. But it is humorous.
At least, I chuckled a bit.
