Keith Olbermann Is The Worst Hypocrite In The World

Keith Olbermann, doing what he does best.  Which is being a hypocrite.

Stunning, no?

Speaking of hypocrites, here’s an excerpt from a blog post written by Olbermann’s 23-year-old girlfriend Katy Tur:

When are the people in charge going to realize that we, the youth, the ones who are in high school and college or who, like me, have just graduated, do not want to be read the news by another cheesy blonde anchor who looks like the girl who does keg stands and dances on coffee tables at frat parties? Respectable journalists don’t wear hot pink and they don’t die their hair blonde if they are Korean like Mia Lee, one of the anchors at KCAL. The women shouldn’t have fake tits that are pushed up to their neck and the men shouldn’t be orange. Do you respect the guy in your psych class that has frosted tips and highlights? No. Then why would you feel differently toward the guy reading the news?

Now here’s pictures of Ms. Tur...dancing at what appears to be a college frat party:

Like peas in a pod, these two.

"Special comment”. Hmmm. Just like his Olympics!

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

Keith Olbermann is biased towards Hilllary, that’s no secret. Considering all the racism that has exposed itself within the Democrat party lately, maybe, just maybe he is also racist. Who knows. One thing is certain, he loves that new girl friend for her brains, right?

Out of curiosity, where exactly is the hypocrisy and, while I’m asking the question, what does the picture of KO’s girlfriend have to do with what she said about news anchors?

Not trying to be petulant, just a tad baffled.

Name calling?

If you mean by calling Rob out for what he is like he does of those he makes posts about, yes I am name calling when I say he is the king of making false corollaries, a hypocrite and a propagandist.  Care to prove me wrong?

And why the double standard Proof?  Why is it OK for Rob to call people “names”, but not me?

Oh, I can tell you why.  Because you don’t think before you talk.  You are pretty much a complete moron.  That, is what true name calling looks like...by the way.

First of all, oh incoherent one, you’ve had a hard on for Rob ever since you came here. Must be because Rob has made something of himself and you’re just a nameless nobody who can’t reason his way out of a wet paper bag!
What percentage of your posts do you NOT call Rob names?  And usually, it’s just for shit where you don’t agree with him and yet you accuse him of dishonesty! Your act is old and tired (and lame). Please! Take it on the road!

Three thoughts:

I spent time on it because it proves two things.

1) Rob is a lying hypocrite who really doesn’t care about hate speech, unless its made by someone that can be traced back to hurt his political opponent.

That shows the kind of person Rob is.  An unprincipled political hack who is bent on distorting truth to advance his political ideas.

2) It shows that people all over the world like Hannity and Rob are making a false argument about the fact that you can still get opinions from people who make outrageous statements.

This demonstrates that Obama is really no different than Rob.  This goes to establish that Obama can be trusted to see that his pastor can say outrageous things and Obama can still get opinions from him and weight them individually.

How can you not see this?

However, in the last few weeks, you have become obsessed with Rob. Why?  In so doing, you have become petulant, bitter and spiteful; not cherished qualities in a debator.

What I see in this thread - as an example - is your effort to besmirch Rob, using the hateful race-baiting of Nugent and Rev. Wright as your springboard. Again, why? Rob has demonstrated in numerous posts his distaste for both of them.

Would much rather tangle with the Hannitized of old.

However, in the last few weeks, you have become obsessed with Rob. Why?

Because any decent and intelligent person can understand that sometimes people make outrageous comments, like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Ted Nugent and even Pastor Wright.

Rob pretends (and I say pretends because I can prove it now) that Obama can not be honest by condemning Wrights comments and still refer to him for wisdom.  Yet Rob does the same thing to Nugent as many Americans do with Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and so on.

This point is obvious pparets.  I am getting very tired of the dishonest attacks on Obama.

THIS is why I am commenting about Rob, because his actions are transparent.  You may not see them, but the rest of us, who are trying to be honest do.

I am.  But I should have clarified.  I knew you would take it that way, because i wrote that wrong.  Sorry.

I meant that the rest of us, who do see Robs dishonesty who are trying to be honest about our guy Obamas situation.  Anyone could excuse Wright and Obama, but there are things that need to be addressed, honestly.  That is what I meant.

It’s hard to have a debate when your guy is getting dishonestly trashed, by phonies like Rob.

Why dont we discuss why people like Ted Nugent are accepted by everyday Americans and then why people like Wright are accepted by everday Americans, who are black?

I know you are adult enough to cover this honestly, Rob, I am not sure.  But if you examine this honestly, you can make a rational argument for Obama, even though he already explained this to us in his speech, that went ignored by people (phonies) like Rob.

Revised:

But if you examine this honestly, you can make a rational argument for Obama, AND ROB even though he already explained this to us in his speech, that went ignored by people (phonies) like Rob.

Because if you look at my words.  I am not mad that Rob continues to use Nugent as a source.  I am just calling him a hypocrite for doing so.

There is a valid reason why people want to identify with Nugent and there is a reason why people want to identify with Wright.

And by people I mean some important ones, like Hannity and Obama.  Yes they are not equal, but both Hannity and Obama want to reach those people under those mouthpieces.  Hannity, wouldn’t condemn Nugent, but Obama condemned Wright.  This is a clear example of the differences between men.  I am not even touching the obvious differences, those need no explanation.

Gee, too bad.  I am getting very tired of Obama suckups like you who don’t have a clue about honesty.  Regardless of how you view Obama, he’s still an empty suit spouting socialist cliches, and one should be concerned about the policies and philosophies of his friends and acquaintances cause those are the type of people that he would lnclude in his government.

Ok, finally I understand something about your intent and why you are so often really angry.
Politically-based blogs like SAB have a perspective which it’s members generally adhere to. Example: SAB on the right, DailyKos on the left.

Forums, like Power Line, are generally balanced; less politically oriented. Maybe you would be more comfortable there, although I hope you stay here.

Even on the right, I often get my eye poked for being more ‘moderate’ than many of my fellow bloggers here; my support for John McCain being a perfect exmple.  You have seen it, I’m sure.

So, friend, don’t expect to get a ‘balanced’ response on SA. Indeed, if I wrote some of my stuff to DailyKos, MoveOn or Huffington… it wouldn’t even be posted!  So much for ‘free speech’.

In contrast, and to my knowledge, Rob has never blocked even your most offensively personal attacks on him. Right?

If you want to blog here - and no one has blocked your effort to do so - expect other contributors to SAY ANYTHING. smile

Powerless, insignificant pissant, (Possibly unemployed) is jealous of Rob’s national and international forum. Said pissant is barely conversant in English, can’t spell worth shit and has trouble finding his arse with both hands.
Said pissant, in order to find some meaning for his otherwise worthless existence, tries to find inconsistencies with someone who has proven himself (Rob), takes what little inconsistencies he can find and attributes bad motives to them (mind reading), and when he can’t find inconsistencies...he just makes stuff up!

I’d like to echo pp’s support of Rob’s willingness to let virtually anything go. I usually don’t agree with Rob but I can’t recall any of his positions as characterising dishonesty. I can certainly recall Rob advancing positions which don’t make sense to me given the facts but I’ve always put that down to the fundamentally different assumptions we make about people, politics and the world in general.

Speaking for myself, I’ll readily admit taking an argument too far and baiting those with whom I disagree for the purposes of amusement and mischief. It is entirely possible to take ourselves too seriously and sometimes it helps to step back, take a deep breath and remember how boring pro basketball is in comparison to college’s March Madness. It works for me anyway.

For the record...I’ve read Obama’s speech, he condemned the negative and inflammatory comments that Rev. Wright made, I believe that, as individuals, we can agree and disagree with different opinions that friends hold, that, as individuals, we can oppose candidates based on the company they keep and we can support candidates despite the company they keep. I don’t like what Wright said but I’d support Obama based on what he said if I was American.
