Keith “Bush Is A Fascist” Olbermann Lectures Public About Partisanship

And apparently manages to do it with a straight face.

The thing about this “partisanship” stuff is that too often people who make the charge are trying to write off an argument instead of making one.  Olbermann is a raging, red-faced partisan but that doesn’t in and of itself make him wrong.

What makes him wrong is what he actually says.  It’s a small distinction, but an important one.  You can be an absolute apologist for a certain candidate or political party and still get it right on some issues every once in a while.

Honestly...I didn’t know who Kieth Olberman was until a couple months ago.

All I know about him was the few times I’ve happed to flip to his show while channel surfing, he was calling Bill O’Reiley names. I just thought it was strange for the host of one cable show to be so obsessed with another host.

Later I learned that Olberman basically just trashes everyone to the right of Fidel.

I really think their’s more to Olberman’s obsession with O’Reilley than partizenship or competition.

I would not be shocked to learn that Kieth sneaks into Bill’s house when O’Reilly is out of town and tries on O’Reiley’s clothes and looks at himself in the mirror. He probably steels his haid clippings as well.

As so many of you have noticed over the past few years one of the most used and favorite terms of the Left and liberals is the term “Fascist”.  To their thinking that is the end-all to any argument or disagreement.  Interestingly the term Fascist has its founding in big and controlling government--the very kind that the Left seems to want--except, of course, theirs will be “kind and benevolent and tolerant”. As Hayek says, “The Gov’t that can give you everything can also deny you anything”.
Olberman fits the description heard in a Navy barracks--most people have hemorrhoids, but he is a perfect asshole.

Keith Olberman was pitiful back when he was doing sports commentary on ESPN ad trying desperately to seem glib and knowledgeable.  It astounds me that anyone with brains or class would pay attention to anything a vile little twerp like Olberman has to say.
