John McCain The Exxon Candidate?  What About Obama’s Contributions From Exxon?

The Democrats are really making a big deal about John McCain taking money from Exxon.  As though oil companies were so inherently evil that taking perfectly legal, totally transparent political contributions from them was in and of itself enough to impugn McCain’s character.

They’re even calling McCain the next Dick Cheney.

But here’s something interesting: If it’s bad for McCain to take money from the oil industry, isn’t it also bad for Barack Obama?  The Democrats claim that McCain has taken some $55,000 from Exxon employees and political committees.  But according to a search of the FEC’s contributions database I found $10,900 in contributions from Exxon executives, employees and political committees to Obama.

So what does this mean?  That Obama is only 1/5th as evil as McCain is because he only took 1/5th of the contributions from Exxon that McCain has?

If taking money from Exxon is as evil as the Democrats are making it out to be, how do we explain Obama’s acceptance of money from the company?

You mean the Oil Workers Unions did not contribute to Obama?

Political contributions only go one way. Much is made of Rupert Murdoch giving money to a Republican candidate. Nothing is made of him giving the DNC a space to hold a convention, worth a cool million for free, or his campaigning for Hillary.

Only contributions that look bad for Republicans count. Which is why a Republican candidate taking money from the ACLU or NOW is bad, even though it’s laudable for a Dem to do it.

When we look at the “socialist paradise” that is Cuba, we must remember that a sizable share of the misery those people suffer is directly attributable to Che Guevara bringing Castro into power, and giving him many of the policies that have caused so much pain. The real symbol of Che should be the raft, to remind us of all those who have died on rafts in the ocean trying to escape the Cuban nightmare and get to freedom. And had he not been killed, begging for his life like a coward, he would’ve done the same thing again and again in countries all throughout Latin and South America. His actions have inspired terrorists across a continent and caused countless deaths.

Forget the Exxon contritubutions to Obama...how ‘bout the fact that the BP-AMOCO pimp the nearly octogenarian Zbig Brzezinski is ALSO an Obama advisor? Mr. Brzezinski who destroyed the mid-east with the insanity that he worked all through the Carter administration...who never left DC and has deftly gone under the entire world’s radar getting away with FILTH that is unimaginable...back for another round of chicanery with this young, arrogant candidate who thinks he’s somehow invincible. Did I hear the world PUPPET anyone?!

What about Obama accepting foreign contributions, he appears to be receiving money which has been converted.

Isn’t this illegal?
