John Edwards Lumps Karl Rove In With Ann Coulter On Hardball

What a crass, blatant smear from John Edwards speaking on Chris Matthews’ Hardball:

I think that when people like Ann Coulter—and it‘s not just her, unfortunately, it‘s her and people just like her, Karl Rove and all those people. I mean, when they engage us in this kind of hate-mongering, you have to stand up to them. You have to stand up to them.

Whatever your opinion is of Karl Rove, he doesn’t have a mouth on him like Ann Coulter.  But you gotta love the way Edwards is milking this Coulter thing for all he’s worth by lumping in everyone on the right with her.

The lefties lie, Ann tells the truth.

If you don’t know by now, don’t mess with it.

"you have to stand up to them. You have to stand up to them”.

Doesn’t he mean “you have to get your wife to stand up to them. you have to get your wife to stand up to them.”

I think the whole dynamic of this election is going to change soon. 1. Fred Thompson is leading the Republican Pack without even declaring his candidacy. 2. I heard on Rush earlier today that Al Gore has cancelled all his speaking engagements for the next 6 months, which combined with a recent poll that says he would get the Democrat Party nomination, I think he’s about to get into the race.

Why do I mention this under this thread, I think Edwards falls in the polls soon and becomes a non-issue.

No matter the age or state of health, for a military man it is always glorious to tilt at windmills, rescue a fair Dulcinea and be a gallant knight in armor in a glorious cause.

I may have spoken too soon, as on another web site there are denials about the 6-month cancellation of speeches and of considering a run for President by algore!

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

Here’s the exact quote the libs have been distorting from Ann Coulter:

“But about the same time, you know, Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack—so I’ve learned my lesson: If I’m going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

Maybe if we could get a dead baby to channel it for him, then the Breck Girl could understand it!

So let me get this straight; by misrepresenting a columnist’s comments and mis-connecting those comments to Karl Rove, the Breck Girl is addressing the issues.  Did I get that about right?

Of course, this might “play better in Peoria” than his actual ISSUES, but the hypocrisy of decrying personal attacks while making a zillion of them is just breathtaking.

This is coming from the guy who demonizes the rich (even though he is rich).

Let me get this straight. John"I’m too pretty"Edwards is too cowardly to face Ann Coulter live on camera. His wife only has balls big enough to phone it in. And anyone is supposed to take this closeted homosexual seriously as a candidate for President?

RRIIGGHHTT!!
