The NY Times is going after McCain’s wife, but not Obama’s and they shouldn’t be going after either. Every citizen, including a couple of bloggers who are knocking Joe the Plumber, should be concerned. Even Obama and Biden got their jabs in against this guy. Sad state of affairs.

But aside from politics, and the desire to fix fault with the “other side” can you say with certainty that our only problem is the policy decisions of the Democrats? Have you questioned your self as to whether this massive borrowing is good for us? Could it be that we are drowning in debt? Could it be the “whiz-kids” of Wall St. sold us short and made of with billions? I hear that the CEO of one failed Wall St. brokerage/investment bank made $400,000,000 million. That is $400 million. Where were the regulators? Have you forgotten that ex senator Phil Gramm, did push for deregulation of the markets, and to a large degree was succesfull? Have you asked your self how is it is possible to loan money to someone, make money of the loan, sell that loan to someone else, the next person takes their cut off that same loan and turns around and sells the same loan to somene else? The loan has not realized it’s full potential yet but the hyenas and vultures have started feeding off that baby. How is it possible, and where is the money coming from when they cash that loan in five years? That loan will take 20, 25, 30, or maybe even 40 years to be payed off. Yet people were/are collecting upfront. Well, with no money in the pot this ponzi scheme was doomed to failure form the start. And it did. And you and I are paying it.

I would go so far as to say there are already plans to do just that, bog them down and cost them money it cost nothing for the complainer but the air time is free unless they change that in the law .That is what they are planning I am sure that they are looking to make the one asking for equal time to pay the bill . Certainly I know that the left leaning news is in denial of their liberal leanings , someone did a study and found that all of the Obama news casters don’t think they are liberal . So now Obama says if Fox news were not in the news business he would be running away with the election , maybe?maybe not . I still don’t see how people can be so blind to his ideas of Marxism .

I can give you partial credit for the answer that it would backfire on most of the MSM. But to go along with what you suggest you have to believe that the MSM knows that it is on the Liberal side. I think most, meaning 90% of the MSM, believe they are the pulse of the nation and would not agree with you. That they need to be more balanced.

the unfairness doctrine could back fire on the news media , the ones espousing pure liberal doctrine may have to ante up time for a right wing rebuttal, so they have to rethink it or write it where no rebuttals are to had against left wing ideas.

What scares me more about this election is Obama getting a Congress that is veto proof. I am trying to find out what the congressional makeup was during Carter’s and Johnsons’s term. Carter had great plans but I think it was balanced by more Republicans in congress, while LBJ may have had a more free hand. Not sure yet, have to do the research.
LBJ’s changes are just a drop in the bucket compared to what is on BO’s list. Without a counter-balance we are going to be heading into changes that will take years and years to fix. Starting with the muzzling of the right with the Fair Doctine legislation. Which is so anti-free speech it stalinistic.
