Joe Lieberman: The CIA Tells Me The Truth

Joe Lieberman basically hangs Nancy Pelosi out to dry:

No, on that specific point, I totally disagree. You have to have confidence in the CIA. And over the 20 years I’ve been here, I’ve been briefed constantly by the CIA and I’d say that they’ve told me the truth, as they see it.

I’m guessing more and more Democrats are going to be throwing Pelosi under the bus. She’s just out too far on the limb. Her lies are too transparent, and nobody on the left wants to go down with her.

    Apparently Pelosi and Obama forgot something: the CIA KILLS people… it’s in their job description.

    Did those two really think that these killers were going to just meekly take-one-for-the-team… when the team captain is a lying, incompetent, arrogant nebbish who has basically told them they need to kiss his ring? -please

    Obama really kicked an ant hill with his ill-advised and politically motivated release of Bush Administration memos regarding EITs- I’m sure he already regrets it.

    Let’s have a hearing and get it all out there, shall we? Then watch the rats scatter who attacked Bush for protecting the country from terrorist attack… but who clearly knew what was going on five years before we heard a peep out of them

    Wrong? Then why are they still being funded? I thought you stems wanted to zero out the budget of govt agencies with less than a 100% success rate? Did we spend all that money on spies so they could be wrong? They didn’t know about 9/11 either. With all that money you’d think they might find out something, huh?

    Sort of like all those trillions we spend on “defense” only to have a few guys with boxcutters (!!!) manage to penetrate that fabulous defense.

    So when do we start the effort to zero out the CIA budget for being “wrong”, stems?
