Joe Biden’s Highlight Reel

In celebration of Obama picking Senator Joe Biden as his running mate we here at Say Anything thought we’d run a quick “highlight reel” of Joe Biden’s rhetorical high points.
Because apparently the Obama campaign thought putting someone like Biden next to Obama would make the latter look like a veritable Winston Churchill by comparison.
First up, Biden talking about his broad political appeal by noting how popular he is in former slave-holding states:

Next, Biden telling an Indian supporter of his about how you can’t go into a 7-11 or Dunkin’ Donuts in Delaware without speaking with an Indian accent (because Indians loving being stereotyped as convenience store clerks):

Next, here’s Biden giving a little pep-talk to Barack Obama and Al Sharpton about getting tested for AIDS:

And finally, here’s Biden describing Barack Obama as the first “clean” black Presidential candidate.

Last night when I posted about Biden being picked as Obama’s VP I wasn’t kidding when I said the choice was “The Messiah’s gift to Rush Limbaugh.”

With Biden as the “non-change” Obama pick (Obama has been saying to his staff that they need to not get too ‘attached” to the change message – does this man actually BELIEVE in anything?), I think Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska becomes a very appealing choice for McCain as VP.

I love Romney, but he doesn’t come without baggage and he does nothing to get the disaffected female Hillary vote or the disaffected working class white Democrat vote that are both ripe to be picked.

The Democrats can also paint a McCain/Romney tciket as “The Two Rich White Guys out of touch with the Common Man” ticket.

Research Sarah Palin. Very interesting VP choice I could live with.

Sarah Palin might just be exciting enough and “changey” enough to put McCain over the top.

It would be funny: Obama, “Mr Change” picks the establishment Washington insider and McCain, “Mr Establishment” picks to dynamic woman.

Too funny.

P.S., If McCain taps Palin (very long shot), how about Romney for Secretary of Treasury? We need someone in that role that can actually explain to the American people how the economy works and cheerlead a bit (as Bush’s Treasury Secs never have).

It has little to do with any personal vendetta, though the Democrats in Alaska who hat the rising Republican star they have in their state are naturally twisting it into something else.

That really wouldn’t be enough to derail her would it? Ex-Brother in law… The dems are pretty desperate if they are going to do that. Of course you can’t put anything past the HuffPost and Daily Kooks Mentality

P.S., Apparently Sarah Palin is involved in some probe of the firing of her ex-brother-in-law or some other pointless bs like that. I don’t think anything of that nature should limit her chances. Sounds to me just like som Democrat attack job. They hate when Republicans fire anyone.

He couldn’t have made a worse pick if he chose to have Michele “I hate America” Obama as his VP.

He is supposed to be the candidate of Change, and then he intends to implement all of Jimmy Carter’s failed policies.
He is supposed to be the candidate of Hope and come to find out he can’t even have a little hope for a born alive aborted baby.
He is supposed to be the outsider and low and behold he picks one of the most establishment people in all of Washington.

Anyone who is still voting for this guy is mentaly deranged.
