Jobs Lost Since The Start Of The Democrat Majority: Over 5,000,000

An ugly picture:

Of course, we were bound to lose some jobs given the way the housing market was inflated even before the Democrats took over. This recession was due even if Republicans had stayed in charge. But, you’ve got to think that if we weren’t on this spending spree right now, if the left’s solution to everything weren’t more government and thus more tax and regulatory burden for the economy, things might not be as bad as they are right now.

Caterpillar is canning a few thousand union stiffs in indiana.

Bat: I know there are no cause and effect relationships between any Bush economic policies and the recession. That is obvious to anyone who knows economics. The recession was caused by the Dems needing a wedge issue to elect their inexperienced and ignorant Marxist to the White House. Even the thirty year long market rigging by the Dem social engineers could have been fixed without anything more than reduced, but still positive, economic growth. Before the MSM and Obama started the relentless lying about the economy, we had a very slight slowdown; it accelerated when it became obvious that Obama’s election would occur, and the investors started bailing out of the market, in the fourth quarter of 2008, and the inauguration and announcement of the radical leftist economic approach became a reality, rather than a possibility, causing a real drop in investor confidence. As you know, without investment and re-investment, our economy just idles along, and the fear of the twin blows of wealth destruction and incurring of massive, unproductive debt(pork spending, to pay off his political allies) has been a disaster for the market and for the economy. Furthermore, Obama’s announcements of a renewal of the obstruction of domestic energy development(real energy, not windmills) has foreshadowed energy shortages in the near future, with the concomitant high energy costs for all Americans, except for the political class, of course.
The cause and effect relationships of the destructiveness of Obama’s economic policies are plain to see.

As we both know, lefties abhor facts and logic, and are unable to do cause and effect reasoning.

    R108,

Of course you’re right. The Obama-led destruction of productivity and wealth continues virtually unabated.

But then there was no list of Clinton era anti-terrorism accomplishments either.

  • Bat One

Still waiting for that list of Bush economic policies, complete with the necessary cause and effect reasoning, that were recessionary.

    R108,

Don’t hold your breath, my friend. I called RBB’s bluff on some stupid claim he made about the long list of Clinton’s anti-terrorism accomplishments. That was over a year ago. Ever since I pointed out that Islamist terrorists averaged one attack against US targets and interests every 18 months during Bill Clinton’s watch, RBB’s vaunted list has vanished like a suicide bomber in an explosion.

Free lunchers are in denial about their responsibility for slowing down economic activity with their collectivist agenda.

  • Buzz

He would just ignore it anyway, or call it lies, or superstition, or whatever mumbo-jumbo he comes up with. But his best trick is to disappear when he is confronted with truth and logic.

Was this the change the Democrats were hoping for?

likwid: They can’t produce what doesn’t exist. There were no recessionary Bush economic policies.

Dumb little dinostem: What “conservative policies” do you claim caused this “mess”? Please furnish the chain of causation to prove your point. If you can’t do that, you are just spouting superstition.

Facts mean nothing to the Obama Lie machine…Where’s the money to fill gas tanks, pay house mortgages, buy groceries? Franks and Dodd stole it!

  • Buzz

No amount of denial on your part will change that fact.

And no amount of posting will keep your stupid, ignorant, lying mouth from blathering the same tired shit over, and over, and over again.

    So whats the point.

    Vanished like your memory.
I posted what you were looking for.
    You chose to ignore it.

  • robert108

    Vanished like your memory.

Another inconvenient truth for little ribby: When Clinton failed to go after AQ when they bombed the WTC in ’93, he became an enabler of Islamoterrorism.
No amount of denial on your part will change that fact.
Had he gone after them and wiped them out, there would have been no 9/11 and quite possibly, no wars in either Afghanistan or Iraq.

And no amount of posting will keep your stupid, ignorant, lying mouth from blathering the same tired shit over, and over, and over again.

I see you’re talking to your mirror again, “Buzz”. Just for fun, though, try for once to present any sort of valid counterargument to anything I write.
You remain bitter, hateful and fact-free.

This has to be the funniest yet most pathetic posting topic I’ve seen on this blog!

Far from being inflammatory, it simply reeks of desperation and disappointment if not outright fear.

The outrageousness of the premise is more indicative of fearful resignation than anything else.

I think you are beginning to realize just how long your kind will be out of power for the mess created by conservative policies.

  • Buzz

    no

This bush/gop recession is a doozy, ain’t it?

I couldn’t hear you Rod, you’re going to suck what?

Still waiting for that list of Bush economic policies, complete with the necessary cause and effect reasoning, that were recessionary. Anything, anything, little ribby?

robert108 – Still waiting for that list of Bush economic policies, complete with the necessary cause and effect reasoning, that were recessionary.

Doesn’t look like we’ll ever get that answer.

    They must not have it.
