Jim Webb Is Toast UPDATE: Maybe Not So Much

Writing books where male characters fellate their underaged son?

Disgusting.

Read all about it on the reader blogs.

And, for the record, there’s no amount of “context” that makes father/son underaged blow jobs ok.

Update: Or maybe there is some context that makes this ok:

Thira Srey, office manager for the Southern California-based Cambodian Association of America, said it is acceptable for a mother or caretaker in Cambodia, especially those from rural areas, to kiss the penis of an infant or put it in her mouth as a sign of respect or love.

The child is usually 1 year old or younger, “but no more than 2 years old,” he said.

The act has nothing to do with sexual feelings, he said, noting that it can be viewed as a sign of high respect by a caretaker for a future “master.”

So I guess that’s an accepted custom in some parts of the world.  Repugnant, but it seems as though all Webb was doing is describing a foreign custom.

Not as bad as it originally seemed.

Although, if this were a just world, Webb would still reap what he sowed for all that “macaca” and “he said the n-word” nonsense.
