Jesse Jackson: Don’t Tell Your Kid To Get A Job, Teach Them How To Demand Free Stuff From The Government
“When I was younger I would say I wanted my children to get educated so that they wouldn’t have to go through what I’ve gone through,” says Jesse Jackson in this video clip. “I’ve changed that position now. I want them to get a good education so they can have more tools with which to fight. The fight will not stop. I want them to have more tools. I want black fathers to have more tools with which to fight.”
Fight for what, you ask? “So I say ‘fathers, teach your children how to fight for jobs and justice and healthcare using the weapons of your mind, your vote, and your marching feet.’”
In other words, don’t teach your kids to be self-sufficient. Teach them how to be victims, and how to use political pressure to live at the expense of others.
I’ve said for some time now that the last thing “leaders” like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton is for their constituencies to get educated and find prosperity. If that happened, they’d stop being victims. And if they’re not victims any more, then the industry people like Jackson and Sharpton have built around being victims’ advocates will collapse.
In a lot of ways, Jesse Jackson is like a defense contractor hoping for endless war.
I’ll not deny that there are victims in the world who could use a hand up. What disgusts me is people who, under the guise of offering a helping hand, really keep those people pushed down in the mud.
