As a black man, I love it when ignorant white women like Janeane Garofalo speak for all blacks. It’s thrilling to me that Janeane would take time out of her busy Hollyweird life to protect me and my peeps — the downtrodden, the oppressed…the lowly Negro.
For her efforts, I thank Garofalo, and anoint her Janeane Garofalo: White Chick Protector of the Lowly Negro.
Who better than she to offer such protection? Garofalo, after all is an American hero! And I bet you were wondering who could possibly replace the likes of Barbara Streisand or Susan Sarandon…Madonna?
Garofalo is so in touch with the black condition, that she is uniquely qualified to assess and understand my people’s “condition.” Her intimate knowledge of blacks allows her to interpret how blacks think, and then translate “black-think” for the rest of America. “Cuz Lawd knows, we kaints do dis for ourselfs.”

Read the whole thing. I’d say the author is singularly, er, unimpressed by her ranting condemnation of ordinary people as racist bigots. Here’s another small excerpt:

Untrue, of course, but the picture on this thread makes her appear better looking than her appearance on “24″, where she looks really hagged out. She is obviously a good actress, though, since she appears to be a real human being on the screen, rather than a bile and hate-filled hag.

Well, I wrote to complain … told NBC that though I can’t tolerate actually watching that gigantic buffoon Olbermann, I am OFFENDED by Garofalo. Also told them that not only did I, myself attend a Tea Party, but I’m from the South and am college educated, have all my teeth, am not married to my first cousin, don’t drive a truck with a shotgun in the back window, don’t live in a trailer, etc. and that it is Garofalo showing HER racism and PREJUDICE against, not just blacks, but hundreds of thousands of people who ARE educated and know their HISTORY … it’s amazing that with her diatribe, she showed her very OWN ignorance and racism – straight up!!

For what it is worth, you have my sympathies. They’re no better towards Jews with their condescension and rabid anti-Israel obsession, or their arrogance to assume they can declare who is an authentic Native American based on whether they support casinos and business or BIA handouts.

It’s never been missed by me that for all the talk of race and so on, the top of the Democratic Party is lily white, mostly male, overwhelmingly wealthy, predominantly Protestant.
