Since when can the receiver of an anonymous delivery be implicated in a drug deal without the authorites first conducting an in depth investigation?
Sheesh… Anyone and their cronies could have set this poor mayor up by sending the package to this unsuspecting household.
It’s not just the officers involved who were wrong but the ranking officers, commander, judge, etc., deserve punishment also.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Another example of the stupidity of our “war on drugs”.

How did they enter this house without a warrant? Why would they shoot a dog that was running away, not attacking?

The smugness of the sheriff’s office spokeman’s rely is astounding. You don’t say dumb shit like that after a monster of a mistake is made. You keep your mouth shut, tell the press an investigation has been launched, and if your guys did what it LOOKS like these guys did, you put some heads on a pike for the public to see (figuratively speaking, of course). You don’t just jump into a smug defensive posture.

One more thing.....take a look at that guy and his wife’s picture. I understand that appearances aren’t everything, but these people couldn’t look any more milktoast if they tried. They WATCHED this guy go in. Did they not check to see who he was?

Okay...two more things. They KNEW there were dogs in the house. They don’t have tasers or pepper spray. Those work very well to incapacitate of drive off an attacking dog. And these were LABS for pete’s sake, not pit bulls.

This kind of stuff pisses me off. Now for the caveat....maybe they had a reason to do what they did.

Entrapment and terrorizing. Laughable.

Breaking the door down and a bunch of weirdly dressed armed strangers running into the house could agitate a person’s dogs. Apparently they had to chase the younger dog into a back room to “neutralize” it.

Had SWAT not come in as they did the mayor with the help of his wife’s mother and the dogs could have quickly eaten the 32 pounds of pot.

Figure the county to settle with the mayor for $2 million. Go in front of a jury with a bad warrant
and two dead dogs, I doubt it.

Of course, King was drugged up and resisting arrest. But, you really don’t wanna be around a “Worked Up” Cop.

They have “dog” sniffing drugs which are delivered to doorsteps. Any dog seen after that, gets his ass shot in half..
