Ever notice how it’s always the leftists who can’t seem to say anything at all, never mind anything of substance, without fouling the air with their venom?  Most of us figure out, somewhere around our sophomore year in high school usually, that a liberal sprinkling of four-letter words is not necessarily indicative of a manly, authoritative personality.  Some, obviously, can’t seem to get past that notion.  Pity!

Thank you Carol.  I wish more people would realize that there are people’s mothers here.  Amy Proctor had quite a few verbal unwarranted attacks.  She has young children.  I taught the general population and encountered several poor characters.  To their credit, almost all students modified their behaviors while in school, especially in my classroom because of the examples I set.  "Do as I do and as I said"!

Well, Carol, although I’m not a mom, my mom is here today and she doesn’t like it when conservative posters here call me bitch, slut, whore, Wahhabi watercarrier with calloused knees, etc.   That was my introduction to the board after my first post disagreed (with no personal slurs at all) with the mindset here.

Yes, there are mothers and everyone has one.  And calling the names at so-called ‘libs’ (which I am not, voted for Bush in 2000, couldn’t in 2004) doesn’t make it any more correct.

Say anything; speak as spoken to.

I’ve seen RBB, MikeA, and others who disagree called (as shown above) horrendous things.

Everybody gets emotional sometimes and "goes off".  In Diane’s case, she’s earned much of the abuse through her mean spired comments and trolling behavior.   TAS on the other hand, started  with the invectives against somebody who’s reasoned opinion he disagrees with.

You insult me to my face (speaking hypothetically), I may cut you bad or break your ugly face.  But that’s different than attacking people who you disagree with.

A police state is only one facet of fascism, but it’s rather strange how the blogger in question leaves out all of the others including the very steps he probably cheers that are genuine parts of fascism (mandating Wal-Mart provide health insurance, MPG regulations, increased socialism, etc.).

This guy(?) is kind of like that blogger the WaPo wrote about a couple of weeks ago.  They are real pissed about who knows what and spew venom in a post and act like it’s going to sway people’s opinions.  I am hardly an expert on the written word, but that’s no way to make a persuasive argument.

One of the reasons I like this blog and the people who are here (including RBB and Diane) is the decorum.

If every other post was F you and Suck this or that I would vacaate the premises.  You wouldn’t miss me but I’m not alone.  Chief had it right had did a great job of defense.  So did Seth.  But in the end these kind of people are beyond redemption.  Why try.

A man (or idiot) convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

Thanks Gene!  I did try and might have made some headway.  I don’t know.

The comments by Chief, Mom (Carol) and others incited the blog owner (Michael) to post a sort of defense of his guest poster, TAS.  In the defense, Michael, states that he dislikes the profanity, though he won’t try to curb it.  I like to lead by example...  it seems that Michael does too...  Perhaps TAS will calm down a bit and follow that example.  Who knows.

Either way, we all know that Rob is not a "F-n this/that/the other".  Nor is he likely to don the brown shirt.

The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.
