It’s Come To This: Democrats Use Bush Impersonator In Attack Ad On Republicans

Sigh…

Democrats aren’t exactly catering to the brightest bulbs on the tree with this one. They’re catering to the Jon Stewart, Daily Show crowd. You know, the people who think sound political analysis consists of sarcastic generalities made while mugging for the camera. The “Big Oil Energy Agenda.” Oh, har-de-har-har. That’s so original. Like we haven’t been reading that one on Berkeley protest signs for years.
If the Democrats think this ad is going to make up for their rather absurd solution for gas prices, which near as I can tell consists of taxing the hell out of the oil industry while blocking any attempt to actually increase our available domestic supply of petroleum, they’re kidding themselves.
Americans aren’t as dumb as the liberals think they are.
Discussion question: When are the Democrats going to wake up and realize that they aren’t campaigning against Bush this year?

Want to write for the “Daily Show”? Need a punchline?

Just write about some “dumb” thing that has happened or is proposed to happen. Then ask the question “how dumb is that?”

The punchline is a variation of “so dumb his parents went back to court to have a “W” added to his name”, to “they thought they were dealing with the real Bush”.

    Hilarity ensues.

Bush’s name is not on the ballet, but don’t make the mistake that “he” is NOT. You have Iraq and gas prices that will be the ruling agenda in this election. Bush’s name is all over both, deserved or not. This is going to get interesting, but the Dems are throwing this election in McCain’s lap on an almost daily basis and he not is tipping the dancer.

Meanwhile Barry is building his bank and state structure.

This will get interesting. Count down until we begin to see the McCain ire…
