Issac Hayes Dead At 65

Another unexpected, sad event:

Soul singer and arranger Isaac Hayes, who won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the 1971 action film “Shaft,” has died, sheriff’s officials in Memphis, Tennessee, said Sunday. Relatives found Hayes unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill. Paramedics attempted to revive him and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Damn. And just in case you weren’t around for this, here’s his signature piece:

Note the “next to the still running treadmill” part. I was gonna work out today. I think I’ll have a drink instead.

Who was ever found unconscious

in front of a plate of ribs?

May Issac Hayes have been successful ridding himself of the numerous Body Thetans that were attached to his Earthly body vessel by way of the actions of the evil lord Xenu of the Galactic Confederacy.

May he be successful in avoiding landing on the planet of Venus.

Relatives found Hayes, 65, unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill, said Steve Shular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department.

Another senseless treadmill fatality.
