Is Pakistan Complicit In The The Cross Border Attack That Killed Nine American Troops?

Yeah, well, if you believe they’re not, that those heavily armed militants drift across the border, attack at will, then dash back to the safety of the Pakistani wilderness and Pakistan has no clue, no whiff of intelligence about who they are and where they are, then you’re either willfully ignorant or you work for the mainstream media.

There is no way in heaven or hell that Pakistan isn’t aware of the militant’s activity on their border. Just this weekend hundreds crossed over and attacked a forward NATO base near the border, killing 9 American troops and wounding 15. Those are the numbers so far and may well rise as more information, which is still sketchy, comes in.

The militants paid a heavy price. Again, early numbers say they have over 40 dead and an unknown number of wounded.

We give Pakistan billions in aid each year and what we get in return is their back room deals with the radicals that allows the free movement back and forth across the border into Afghanistan of hundreds of fighters, and payoffs of the radical leaders to leave them alone. The most ironic part is - they’re probably using our money to pay off those people. And this is the result.

We should cut off every penny of that aid unless they start doing what they’re supposed to do, and that is to block or intercept those radicals on their soil, stop giving them the safe haven they now enjoy just across their border, and live up to the term, “ally” that is so freely used by the Bush Administration.

Not…one…more…dime.

Let them wallow in the problem they’ve created for themselves with their backstabbing and politically expedient dealings with the Islamists.

So, back to my original question: Are they complicit?

Damn right they are, and not just by default, either. And if our government can’t see that, then they just may be as stupid as the media would have had us believe they were all this time.

Didn’t we learn anything in the 10 year war between the Soviet and Afghanistan. We cant stop weapons and enemy Taliban troops from coming in from Pakistan.  Lets be honest why is Pakistan not on the Bush Terror List. Sooner or later that country will have to be dealt with. 1 in 5 americans killed, 1 in 3 injured. Fight to win, or get the fuck out….

Pakistan the national government? No. Pakistani citizens? Bet your ass.

Luck? What are you referring to with “1 in 5” and “1 in 3”? The FPB garrison?

The FOB( forward operating base), those are the numbers from where the attack took place. These attacks have taken place a number of times, its just this time we were too close to the border with not enough troops. 300+well armed and trained Taliban against 30 -40 US troops. With out air support they could of been run over. We are spread way too thin, and to have europe sit on the side lines is bull shit. We can not win this war alone, and will lose sooner than later if the world doesn’t unite against Muslim terrorist whatever you want to call them.

Luck, we are not alone in Afghanistan. The Brits and Canucks have been taking more casualties than Americans in that theater for some time now.

And as for a platoon US against 300 Taliwackers? They be comin’ to the fight under gunned. They breached the wire in 4 places and put 30-40 effectives into the position. And got their asses handed to them. Not only did the assault force take heavy casualties, they were refused disengagement and took further KIAs and WIAs, and lost several of their clandestine operating bases.

Put GIs out front, where the fire flies both ways, and we kick fucking ass every time. Even when we take heavy losses.

And yes, I been and done.
