Is Kerry A Hunter?
Earlier this year John Kerry made much of his his status as a recreational sportsman.
As a life-long hunter and fisherman, I am proud to be among the millions of American sportsmen and sportswomen who are dedicated to conserving fish and wildlife and passing along the American hunting and fishing heritage to the next generation.
But you’d think that a “life-long hunter and fisherman” would have a hunting license in his home state.
By going to the MassOutdoors Online Licensing & Registration system one can enter Mr. Kerry’s name, date of birth and home town (Boston) and enter into their application and renewal system.
I can’t link directly to it, but a screen capture of the system is below.
By clicking on the links one can see a list of expired boat licenses held by Kerry:
And a current boat license:
But when one clicks on the link to request duplicate copies of past hunting licenses the system comes up with a blank:
This isn’t conclusive, of course, but I would think that if Kerry had a hunting license in his home state within the last couple of years it would show up in this online system. Tags: General
