Is Barack Obama A Plagiarist?

There are certainly some disturbing similarities between a speech given by Barack Obama and a speech given by the current Democrat Governor of Massachusetts Deval Patrick:

The coincidences would seem to indicate that Obama copied several lines and linguistic speech patterns from Patrick’s “Just Words” speech for Obama’s own “Words Matter” speech. Indeed, words do matter. And they matter even more when they are one’s own words.

Here’s Obama’s speech from February 16th, 2008:

With Obama already suffering from accusations relating to the lack of substance in his campaign, this doesn’t bode well.
It’s worth noting that in 1987 Joe Biden’s bid for the Presidency was ended after it was discovered that he’d plagiarized a speech former British Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock.

    I never said the story was true, did I?

    WND never said the story was true, did they?

    Did I or did I not make it clear that the point was: If the same thing had of been alleged about McCain the MSM would have it in every headline and the top story on every broadcast; but since Obama is a MSM liberal, they haven’t mention the story at all. Please pay attention, the subject of the thread was media bias, not whether or not Obama was guilty of anything.

    Oh, I didn’t make the claim, the guy in the story did, please get your facts straight.

    Lastly, why would you make up a sex and drug story about me, I am not running for public office. If the story is true or false, its only important because Obama is a national candidate.

    Obama has acknowledged borrowing this from his good friend, who doesn’t mind at all. They trade ideas and phrases all of the time and they share the same advisor. There are numerous instances of people borrowing short phrases for speeches.

The reason I mention it at all, is that I believe if it were against McCain it would be all over the national media, but against Obama and the silence by the MSM is deafening.

    It is probably all crap, but the MSM would treat it as absolute prtoof of guilt if it were against McCain.

    I am wondering if Clinton hired Larry Flynt to do some slime for him…

Since their big praise about Obama is his talent as a speaker, the true origin of what he says should be important to them. Maybe on getting power interests the lefties, and they don’t care how they go about it.
