Irony: Obama Tells America To “Spend Less, Save More”

The ability of this man to be an absolute, flapping-in-the-wind hypocrite without even batting an eye is positively startling.
Since coming into office his spending has tripled the deficit. And now he’s telling us to save.


How about Obama spend fewer of my tax dollars and send them back to me so I can save them?
That probably makes too much sense.
On a related note, how does Obama say this while simultaneously promoting policies aimed at getting people to keep taking out mortgages and encouraging banks to lend more?

    Since Obama and the Dems prefer that the federal government should do all our spending for us, we should have no reason to note Obama’s hypocrisy… and no reason to prefer to take care of our selves and our own wants and needs. Right?

    You lie again. He said, “we can’t return to a situation where America’s economic growth is fueled by consumers who take out more and more debt.” That we need to increase exports. He’s not telling anyone to quit spending now.

    Other than the usual roaches and turds from the left who keep pestering this blog, NO ONE ELSE ON EARTH BELIEVES A DAMN THING OBAMA SAYS.

    We have no money to save and if we spent any less, the economy would go in the other direction and we’d be carving books on stone in quick order.

    If he doesn’t want Americans taking our more debt then why is he supporting policies encouraging Americans to keep taking out loans?

    The deficit increased due to the downturn and the tax cuts enacted under bush. In fact, a small part of the deficit is due to Obama.

    Not to mention that we’re still living under bush’s last budget.
