I Really Need To Stop Watching The Main Stream Media Because My Face Will Freeze Like This
There is a very real danger of this, you know……

I’ve always been a huge fan of science fiction because it’s a genre that can make you believe, just for a moment, in the utterly impossible. It can transport you into places where reality has no meaning, where it’s true if you want to believe it. But why bother reading science fiction any more? The genre has been usurped. We don’t need sci-fi now.
We’ve got the far left and their sock puppets, the main stream media.
Somehow, somewhere along the way we must have fallen through some trap door into an alternate Evil-Spock-With-A-Beard universe because there is no way that any rational human being can possibly, really believe what our politicians and their shuffling, head bobbing Igor media are telling us. Not only that, for the life of me I can’t begin to imagine that they believe it themselves, but they seem quite sincere.
This really has to be an alternate universe. For instance:
They would have us believe that a man who was a practicing and devout Muslim, who stood on a desk and shouted “Allah Akbar!” before opening fire, killing 13 and wounding dozens more, was a victim of some sort himself and may have some sort of secondary post traumatic stress disorder even though he’d never been anywhere near a combat zone instead of calling him a terrorist.
A former president, noted philanderer and libertine of questionable (at best) character wants us to believe that after using a female intern as a personal humidor then staining her blue dress in another very personal way in the Oval Office and subsequently being accused by a variety of women of a variety of lewd actions, that he is offended at the treatment of women – in a television show.
They want us to believe that a 2000 page health care bill (that most of the politicians who endorsed haven’t even read, nor do they understand it) that will bring higher taxes and government control to almost every aspect of our lives is somehow good for us.
They want us to believe that the world is heating up and that we are all on the edge of dying in some horrid manner, and they want you to believe that you and your “carboon footprint” are somehow responsible when in fact temperatures worldwide are actually decreasing, not increasing. They also want us to believe that giving them cash in the form of buying “carbon credits” will somehow help.
They want us to believe that a governor who was caught diddling away his time and state money on very expensive prostitutes and was subsequently booted from office in disgrace is somehow qualified to lecture on ethics at Harvard University.
They want us to believe a president who is claiming to have “created or saved” over a million jobs and is the savior of the economy in general when unemployment numbers keep rising, the economy keeps plunging downward, and the dollar is becoming increasingly worthless.
The list goes on and on. Just take a few minutes and watch any of the main stream programs or read some of the major newspapers. One of two things must be happening.
1. The reporters don’t actually do any real reporting. They take rumor, innuendo, and personal opinion, weave it into a very flimsy fabric that rarely holds up under any kind of close scrutiny, then put it out there as fact.
2. This is really an alternate universe where everything is backwards. There is no good and evil.
Personally, I’m choosing to believe that we’ve slipped into a wormhole into that alternate universe. Why? Because if this is indeed reality and these people are shaping our future, then we are well and truly screwed, that’s why. And I want to find my way back to the real world as soon as I can.
Where’s the beardless Spock when you need him?
