Hypocrite: Harry Reid Says Democrats Will Try To Seat Franken

Back during the Burris kerfuffle the Democrats hung their case for not seating Burris on the fact that he didn’t, at the time, have a signed certification from the Illinois Secretary of State.
Now comes Al Franken, whose win over Coleman is still be contested in court and thus does not have a certification from the Minnesota Secretary of State, and Harry Reid is a-ok with seating him.

WASHINGTON – It’s no joke: Senate Democrats are moving toward letting comedian Al Franken join the chamber while Republican Norm Coleman’s election lawsuit is pending.
“We’re going to try to seat Al Franken,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., told reporters on Wednesday, a few hours before he posed with Franken for photos just off the Senate floor. “There’s not a question in anyone’s mind, an assertion by anyone, that there’s been any fraud or wrongdoing in this election.”

When do election laws matter?
When it’s convenient to Democrats for them to matter.

If Harry Reid infuriates you, as he does me, do this. Boycott his supporters, the casinos of Las Vegas and Reno. Have the balls to ignore their ads, their “weekend Getaways” Bullshit. Without the casinos’ support he’ll be gone next term. When you get one of their enticements in the mail take the time to send it back with your reasons for not coming to “visit” them. Do it, and he’ll be gone soon enough.
