Huckabee Would Have Won In South Carolina If It Weren’t For Those Meddling Fiscal Conservatives

Huck channels Scoobie Doo:

He continued, “The other thing that has really made the system horrible is this proliferation of people who, then they can only give a certain amount of money to a candidate, then they funnel the money into Washington special interest groups, 527s…the really nasty stuff and do it anonymously. That is not real election reform at all.”

Yeah. How dare Americans express their political free speech through voluntary contributions to advocacy groups of their choosing.
What kind of a country is this, anyway, where political groups can just say whatever they want to say?

That’s some comment coming from a candidate who has mystery phone push-pollers following him to every state this primary/caucus season.

Brass balls, sir. Moronic brass balls…

I got TWO of those push poll calls; at one point they tried to make the innane point that Huckabee was stronger on border security than Thompson! (Because in his 12 years in the Senate he didn’t bring up a bill for stronger border security… when border security wasn’t even an issue.)

Fiscal conservatives brought down populist Huckabee because of his record on taxes and spending?? Nooo!!
How would they dare do such a thing?

  • 2Hotel9

The gall of all those people wanting to support a candidate! How dare they.

I wonder how much 527 money Hucklebee has crammed into his private, numbered account in the Caymans.
