I suppose I oughta introduce myself before I start shooting my mouth off.
My name's Billy Rubin. Well, no, it's not. That's just the name when I take a temporary gig on someone else's blog. I don't have a blog of my own, but I've done some filling in here and there. I'm a long-time big blog reader, and I been a fan of Rob's work for some time. When I heard he needed some folks to cover for him for a week or so, I figgered I'd offer to help out.
I tend to talk a lot about politics. I lean towards agreeing with Rob on a lot of things, but not everything. I'm not gonna deliberately focus on stuff that Rob wouldn't agree with, but if it comes up, I'm gonna talk about it.
I might also do a thing or two that might shake things up around here. When I agreed to help cover for Rob, I never said I'd try to be Rob. That means if I feel like doing stuff he normally doesn't, I'm gonna do it. He don't like it, he can just not invite me next time.
I dunno how much stuff I'll come up with over the rest of the week, but I got a couple things I wanna get off my chest. Stick around, and see what you think.
