Howard Dean Thinks We’re Morally Wrong, Shameful and Reprehensible

For opposing homosexual marriage.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean claims to be reaching out to red-state voters, but yesterday, he suggested that opponents of homosexual “marriage” are bigots.
Mr. Dean was responding to news that Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Tennessee Republican, plans to bring to a vote a proposed constitutional amendment that would ban homosexual “marriage.”
“At a time when the Republican Party is in trouble with their conservative base, Bill Frist is taking a page straight out of the Karl Rove playbook to distract from the Republican Party’s failed leadership and misplaced priorities by scapegoating LGBT families for political gain, using marriage as a wedge issue,” said Mr. Dean, using the abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.
“It is not only morally wrong, it is shameful and reprehensible,” Mr. Dean said.

Let’s see; in every state that the issue has come up the voters have decided by a healthy margin (70-30 in North Dakota) that they want to define marriage as a relationship between one man and one woman. Howard Dean and the Democrats aren’t showing the voters any respect at all.

You have to love leftists. They critique others for being “judgmental”, and narrow minded. Then pass judgment on others as “hateful” and “immoral” because they might have the audacity to disagree with them. Of course the leftist measure of “immorality” is never really defined. They then deny that their secularist humanist views in any way constitute a “religion”.

The single most brutally accurate commentary on Howard Dean was the now-famous cover of National Review magazine from November 2003 which featured a full cover cartoon caricature of Dean with the bold, headlined plea, “Please Nominate This Man!”

For those of us on/in the Right, Dean is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Well, at least Dean isn’t the chickenhawk who ordered the slaughter of tens of thousands of Iraqis.

    That’s your guy.

Dean has just called over 60% of our voting population bigots. This is similar to calling those who don’t wholeheartedly buy into the homosexual agenda mentally ill(homophobia). A phobia is a mental condition, a morbid fear of something or other. We shouldn’t have the choice, I guess.
