How To Join Michele Bachmann’s Protest Without Going To Washington DC

Rep. Michele Bachmann is urging people to join her on the steps of the US Capitol to protest the Democrat health care bill. Obviously, Washington DC is a long trip for most Americans to make especially at a time when finances are tight and the holidays are looming.
For those of you who do want to make the trip to Washington DC you can maybe find some help with a ride here.
But there is a way people all over the country, including those of us here in North Dakota, can help Bachmann send a message against this bill without having to travel all the way tot he east coast. When they’re gathering in Washington DC on Thursday November 5th at noon, head on down to your Representative’s local office (they usually have several across their districts or state) and hold a little protest of your own.
There’s no need for it to be elaborate. Even just a small crowd goes into the office and, respectfully, communicate to them your opposition to the health care bill it could make a huge difference.
For those of you in North Dakota, here are Rep. Pomeroy’s office addresses:

Good call, I’ll head to down Pomeroy’s office here in Fargo over lunch. I’m guessing I’ll be there from 11:45 to 12:15 or so. I’ll probably make a sign and be outside for the majority of the time.

    Anyone else gonna make it?

Ring his phone off of the hook and let him know your not happy. I just got a long rambling, incoherent letter from Kent Conrad’s office yesterday.

Hahahahahahaha! Socialized medicine, here we come. Yipppeeeee!

Visiting Pomeroy’s office in Bismarck is a little tougher; since it’s a federal building with a courthouse inside, there are strict rules for entry to that part of the building (the other part being the post office). For instance, no cell phones are allowed.

Rob, we are still looking for people who want to share a ride. We’re about $500 short for gas money. We have two adults who can take turns driving, and room for a few more people in my gas-hog van. Oh, make that $750 short on gas money!

Even if we can’t pull together a trip, at least we’re trying, and making acquaintance with other patriots in the process.

Yeah, most federal buildings are tough to get into these days. But there’s no law against standing on the sidewalk outside with signs and going in to visit his office.

We held the tea party outside there.

It’s our Congressman’s office. There’s got to be a way to get in.
