How Quickly They Forget

Someone at Free Republic tracked down a New York Times editorial that appeared just 13 days after 9/11.

You'll be surprised at some of the things the editorial calls for with regard to fighting terrorism by tracking financial transactions.

It is sad how, for many on the left (including the editorial staff at the Times), the war against terror has more and more taken a back seat to the war against Bush the further we get from that tragic day in September.

The New York Times is inconsistent at all times, on all topics.  Whichever way the [left wing] wind happens to be blowing at any given moment, that is where you will find the NYT.

What is interesting to me is that MURTHA tried to persuade them not to publish - and still they did!

Now that’s solid brass cojones!

Inconsistency is the hallmark of the Times’ brand of “journalism” (which it really isn’t).  Whichever way the leftwing breeze is puffing on any given day, at any given moment, that’s where you will find them.

Talk about inconsistency?  That would be the Bush administration’s reasons for going to war on Iraq.  That would be the Bush administration’s updates on progress in Iraq.
Inconsistency:  Thy name is George W. Bush.

The reasons for going to war in Iraq have always been the same.

You’re delusional.

You mean like those phony mobile labs Powell ‘showed’ at the U.N.?  Heck, most of his presentation.

Yep…they’ve always been the same…ridiculous and hyped.

Ok, now diane, try commenting on the topic to which this section is attached, instead of thread jacking.

Just this once. That way, we will all know that you aren’t a one trick pony.
