How Come Obama Wasn’t Wearing Body Armor In Iraq Today?

Remember when John McCain went to Iraq over a year ago and praised the security progress there by saying he was able to walk down a street where he couldn’t have before? The left’s response to that was to point out that McCain strolled down that street in full Kevlar with a security detail of 100 troops and three combat helicopters.
Well today Barack Obama landed in Baghdad and was seen strolling about without any Kevlar on at all.

It’s worth noting that when other government big-wigs have landed in Baghdad photos of them in Kevlar have abounded. Condoleezza Rice, for instance, was seen wearing Kevlar in Baghdad and the leftists used that as a talking point to declare Iraq a lost cause.
So can we say that Iraq isn’t a lost cause, and that the surge has worked, now that Barack Obama can walk around the Baghdad airport without body armor?
Yes we can.

Why is there a black officer in this photo op? No problem, I am just curious if they made sure he was there for distribution back home?

Why does he have his hand on Petraeus back when he condemned him last year and has refused to credit him with the success of the surge?
