House Democrats To Introduce Legislation On Monday To Condemn Rush Limbaugh

For his “phony soldiers” comments.

But, of course, the left’s outrage about Limbaugh’s comments has been thoroughly debunked as little more than baseless hyperbole.

This bit of political theater from the Democrats, if it even happens, is little more than a smoke screen intended to draw attention away from Soros-sponsored MoveOn.org’s (whose leadership meets with Congressional Democrat leadership weekly) smear of General Petraeus - who was appointed to his position by a unanimous vote of the Democrat-controlled Senate - as a betrayer.

They’re embarrassed, but rather than apologize for and sever their ties with the extremist nuts at MoveOn.org they’re trying to discredit Rush with an accusation that is only holding water because most of the mainstream media hates Rush about as much as the Democrats themselves do.

When opinion is accepted as fact, perception soon becomes reality, at least for those who share these opinions and cling to the resulting perceptions.

Today, truth doesn’t have to be fact or true at all. It only needs to be a judgment or proposition which has been accepted as true…

Those willing to make tough decisions on the basis of real things, events and facts, once known as the truth, will make their decision one way.

Those who allow themselves the latitude of accepted judgments, propositions and ideas, operating in a sea of gray matter where no absolutes exist, will make their decision quite another way - The opposite way, to put a fine point on it.

Life before gray matter was much easier.

Throughout our day, personally and professionally, we make judgments and decisions based on our understanding of the circumstances and opportunities surrounding those decisions.

The old adage formerly applied to our computers, “garbage- in = garbage- out”, applies to people as well, our minds being nothing more than the most complex computer on earth.

The quality of our decisions is in great part dependent upon the quality of the information we use to make those decisions.

This legislation is aimed at the Democrat’s major constituency: The “I’m Not Really Paying Attention to Politics” crowd.
I can’t tell you how many discussions I’ve had with “liberals” who bring up some story they heard in the MSM, but couldn’t be bothered to follow the entire story and were left with the media’s “first impressions”.
This is designed to make an impression on Democrat voters that the follow ups and retractions never will.

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

Only in totalitarian, short lived regimes for the most part, has this kind of propaganda flowed…

It doesn’t work in the long run!

Weak.

If the Democrats in Congress were all drowning at sea and you threw some large rocks out to them, telling them that the rocks hate George Bush too, they’d all grab hold of them and think they’d been rescued at last.

This is petty, misguided “tit-for-tat” payback for the actions taken against the liberal sweet heart MoveOn.org.

Rush has nothing to fear from these sanctimonious little worms.

Never fear, Tom! Johnboy ain’t forgotten, that train is running full steam, and Johnboy is standing obliviously in the middle of the tracks.
