Hope For Change: Obama’s VP Has Served Longer In Washington Than Any Other VP Candidate Ever

I think we can all agree that the theme (ill-defined as it is) of Obama’s campaign has been “change.” He’s held himself as the “new politics” candidate.  The antidote to insider Washington politics.

So what does it say about this “change” candidate that his chosen running mate is a consummate Washington insider?

Here’s a fun little fact—at no time in the 232 year history of the Republic have we ever had a major party nominee for President or Vice President who has served longer in Congress than Joe Biden.

Obama doesn’t represent change.  He represents the sort of power-hungry liberal who will do anything to achieve power we’ve all come to expect.

I was reading an OpEd in the NYT where the author was basically saying that Obama only when with the “Change” Meme to get the nomination and now that he has it, people need to be ready to discard that and do what it takes to win the election.

Huh?

Does Obama actually BELIEVE in anything or just what meets the political wind of he day? And THIS is a whole new way of doing things in Washington?  Reminds me a hell of a lot of a guy named Bill Clinton.

What really amazes me is the arrogance of a man who can run on “change” and then when it no longer serves his purposes, say, oh no, we are no longer doing the “change” thing, and then fully expect people to accept that.

Someone pointed out that McCain was still a prisoner in the Hanoi Hilton when Biden first planted his fanny in a plush leather covered Senator’s chair in Washington.
Yeah! That makes McCain the Washington insider!

Excuse me, you were saying?

It was Erick Erickson:

Barry Obama was eight when Biden began his Senate career.

Another insider telling people the same lies he has told them for over 30 years. And an abject failure in everything he has advocated. 30 years of failure. Think about it. Everything Biden has done since first coming to office has failed, and people are supposed to just forget all of that and “hope” for “change”?

"Hope for Change.”

“Sanity for complete ignorance.”

“Individual responsibility replaced with government subsidies.”

Here’s a fun little fact—at no time in the 232 year history of the Republic have we ever had a major party nominee for President or Vice President who has served longer in Congress than Joe Biden.

Here’s a fun little fact, 50 billion flies eat shit every year...does not make it right.

When I hear these things It makes me wonder how they can say this with a straight face.

Bill Mitchell:

He is a politician.

Even Wright admits to that.

In one Wright says this in response to Moyers’ question which was essentially how did it go down to have Obama publicly flog you:

It went down very simply. He’s a politician. I’m a pastor. We speak to two different audiences. And he says what he has to say as a politician. I say what I have to say as a pastor. Those are two different worlds. I do what I do, he does what politicians do. So what happened in Philadelphia where he had to respond to the soundbites, he responded as a politician.

Link (Video at site also)

He responds and acts like a politician....where’s the “Change”?

This man will never be President of The United States.

It’s not about your skin color; it’s not about your wife, it’s not about black and white, it’s not about your ability to give great oratory with a teleprompter rolling, but fail as a fifth grade debater when you express your true ideas.

You(BHO) have been exposed; as a medical X-ray exposes the internal imperfections, your past life, your past friends, true thoughts, and how that formed your opinion of the U.S.

Obama shoud use OLD versus NEW instead of change.
OLD are te financial institutes that do’nt work. OLD is McCain. OLD versus NEW is positive, change merely says you dislike the current situation. OLD versus NEW you cannot McCain cannot copy like Change. Because he is OLD and never can play the NEW guy. Amaricans shoud admid that their capitalism and democracy (the OLD) should change. That’s a hard thing for OLD people and figter pilots that build america. But building it doesn’t give the right to bring america down by repeating old dreams

Hey, numbnuts, America’s current economic problems are rooted in Democrat Party fuck ups dating from the 1960s. So fuck off, asshole.
