Hillary’s Plan is No Plan

How can you propose a major overhaul and fix of the health care system without addressing one of the major problems?

DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) — At a press briefing after Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s health care rollout Monday, senior policy advisers said the New York senator’s plan does not currently include any details on whether illegal immigrants will be covered.

Senior policy adviser Laurie Rubiner–while acknowledging that undocumented immigrants are a “huge issue” in this country–said, “That’s one we’re going to have to think through a little bit.”

“We have not dealt with every single detail with this plan,” Rubiner continued

We’re told by the collectivists of course that we need the government to step in because there’s 50 million people uninsured.  Of course you have to know some facts behind that figure as I quoted here in this summary of John Stossel article:

Even with these interventions, the 45 million figure is misleading. Thirty-seven percent of that group live in households making more than $50,000 a year, says the U.S. Census Bureau. Nineteen percent are in households making more than $75,000 a year; 20 percent are not citizens, and 33 percent are eligible for existing government programs but are not enrolled.

Also many people have recently had health insurance and have unnecessarily let it lapse while they are changing jobs.  The fact that someone can afford health insurance but chooses not to is no excuse to take away my control over my health care.  The fact that some people are too lazy to sign up for government programs (or work for that matter) that they are eligible is no excuse to make me suffer begging bureaucrats telling me what health choices I can make.

The people that CAN afford to buy insurance but choose are getting their health taken care of.  They just are paying for it out of their pocket which with all of the cost escalators the governments put into insurance isn’t that bad of a choice.

When it comes down to it you have a few million chronically uninsured people and 12 million illegal aliens that are causing us our problem in the health care field.  So any plan that doesn’t address the illegal alien situation is a failure from both the right and left perspective.

Anyway you and I know that Hillary plans on giving illegal aliens free heath care and probably welfare benefits.  What does Hillary care it’s our money not hers that’s going to be paying for it.  Once again though the left doesn’t dare be honest with the American people as they try to shove their agenda down our throats.
