Hillary: Caucus States Are Undemocratic, Southern States Are Too Black, And Red States Don’t Matter

Yes, she actually said that.

WASHINGTON - Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has found a lot of ways to explain her string of losses to Sen. Barack Obama.

Caucus states, the former first lady says, are undemocratic and cater only to party activists. Southern states, like Louisiana, have “a very strong and very proud African-American electorate” naturally predisposed to favor a black candidate. And so-called “red” states like North Dakota, Idaho and Kansas — all of which Obama won on Super Tuesday — will never choose a Democrat in the general election anyway.

As a citizen of North Dakota, I know Democrats in my state are terrified of an election season with Hillary Clinton at the top of their ticket as the sheer amount of dislike she inspires is sure to either keep voters away, or keep them away from voting Democrat.

Regardless, as much as I’d like to see Hillary be the Democrat nominee (and watch the Dems go down in flames because of it as they all try to rally around a candidate they really don’t like), I think her campaign is circling the drain.  Especially in light of Obama’s victories today.

I am hoping Obama can carry Texas and Ohio to get the Democratic Ticket.  The Democrats in ND that I know have long discussed that if Hillary gets the ticket she will focus her campaign on a limited number of states(NY, Cal, Mass, FL).  If she were to get elected she would truly the president of 15 states or so, not all 50.  She doesn’t give a shit about ND or half the country.

And what do Caucus states, Southern states and Red states all have in common? All too smart to vote for Hillary!

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

What would the lefties do without the race card and the gender card?  They would be practically speechless.

Leftie political philosophy, from a DU commenter:

It doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. RUMOR IS TRUTH. The modern laws of media hype and political warfare have a useful tenet: Repeat ANYTHING or raise false concern over ANYTHING and it is likely to be planted in the conscious/subconscious of many voters.

Question:

If the dems lose the general election, and their next presidential candidate is a white male, will this be seen as a rejection of women and black candidates by the democrat establishment? How’re they gonna dig themselves outta that?
