Hillary Accepts Sec. State Job

Well why wouldn’t she? Did anyone honestly expect her to turn it down?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – New York Sen. Hillary Clinton has accepted an offer from President-elect Barack Obama to become U.S. secretary of state, joining her former Democratic rival to help guide U.S. foreign policy, the New York Times said on Friday.
The newspaper quoted two Clinton associates who said she came to her decision after additional discussions with Obama about the nature of her role as the top U.S. diplomat and his foreign policy plans.
“She’s ready,” one of the sources told the newspaper, which posted the report on its website.

From my perspective, things could have been worse. Obama could have picked John Kerry or someone like that to be Sec. State.

    I would rather have Hillary as Secretary of State than as Supreme Court Justice. Come to think of it, I would rather have Hillary as SoS than Obama.

    She at least isn't a role over and play dead peace nick, at least she says she isn't.

    Yeah, she will screw things up for 2 years and then get fired by Obama in time to run for president on the platform that 'I tried to implement his foreign policy, but it was so messed up. Vote for me and I'll make it right.'

    We'll see what happens, and if Bill can keep his hand in his own pants, not in someone elses, or out palm up to the Saudi's.

    I voted and financially supported you obama, but after you nominated hillary for secretary of state, I will no longer help financially or vote again for obama, obama you should have nominated new mexico governor bill richardson this man stood up for you while hillary was attacking you saying you weren`t qualified and demeaning you and you still won without her support, my god! man why in the h— did you pick hillary for?, when you had so many other qualified people that actually help you and defended you while hillary was ripping you a new a– hole
