Hilarious: Forum Finally Gets Around To Fact-Checking Pro-Heitkamp Advertising

Fargo Forum's Ivory Tower

Back on the 17th I wrote a post pointing out that, while pro-Rick Berg ads from groups like Crossroads GPS had gotten a (rather superficial and asinine) “fact check” treatment from the Fargo Forum, pro-Heitkamp groups like Harry Reid’s Majority PAC (which has spent just as much in the race as Crossroads) had never been the target of that sort of review.

It was just another obvious manifestation of the Forum’s pronounced bias in this race.

But I guess the Forum is a little sensitive to criticism, because days after my criticism (and after a new Majority PAC ad launched in the state) suddenly the Forum is doing a “fact check.”

It’s written by Kristen Daum and not really worth your time to read, but I had to laugh when they decided to do it.

I’d like to hear what their oh-so-objective explanation is for not treating any of Majority PAC’s previous ads in the same way they were treating pro-Berg ads. I’m guessing it would be quite the fairy tale.
