“Suspicious Cat”Activity Reported to Mandan Police

It’s one of the more unusual reports Mandan police have received.

A 79-year-old lady called in and reported vandals had struck her house.

She said when she came home her drapes and the pillows on her couch were messed up.

She told authorities she suspects her dog or her cat are responsible.

The woman reports no sign of forced entry–and that her dog and cat were home all day.

Mandan police Sgt. Jay Grubele says he has no idea why she called it into police, but since she did they had to take the report.
