Obama scolds press on 2016 speculation

President Obama had plenty of kind words for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during their joint interview airing Sunday night on “60 Minutes,” but wouldn’t speculate on the 2016 presidential race.

Interviewer Steve Kroft asked Obama if there was a “date of expiration” on his endorsement of Clinton and the president laughed it off.

“You know, Steve, I got to tell you … you guys in the press are incorrigible. I was literally inaugurated four days ago. And you’re talking about elections four years from now,” Obama said in the interview, which was conducted on Friday.
