Have You Ever Heard Of A Men’s Health Summit?

Probably not.  But there sure are plenty of “summits” and “meetings” and “committees” concerning womens’ health.

It’s the result of campaigning and carping by the feminists, which is sort of ironic.  The prevalence of these events and groups seems to indicate that women need a lot of help with managing their own health while men, by the near total absence of these sort of events/groups targeting them, apparently do not.

Well Mick… the reason for that is probably that men think they don’t need health care.  They’re big and tough and can heal themselves.  You guys just tough it out.  Where women take care of themselves so they can take care of their husbands and children.

I believe the proper response is that organized medicine is a men’s health summit.

Drugs, trials, medical research, are all performed on men using the male body as the model.  So goes the argument.  It makes intuitive sense, but I don’t care enough about the topic to track down data.
