Hate Crime In Fargo?
The article doesn’t indicate that the vandalization of a religious store in Fargo was a “hate crime,” but it seems awfully coincidental that it occurred just as the debate over a ten commandments monument on Fargo city property heats up.
Fargo-area liberals were quick to cry out “hate crime” when a gay man was attacked in neighboring Moorhead (an attack that turned out later to be a lie). But nobody seems to be talking about this crime being motivated by anti-Christian hate.
By the way, the city commissioners voted to keep the monument today despite the whiny pouting of Fargo Forum opinion editor Jack Zalesky). That’s not a decision I support personally, but it’s certainly one more in keeping with the majority of Fargo’s citizens who clearly wanted to keep the monument.
