Harry Reid Calls Soldiers Liars

After Senator McCain gives a rather eloquent speech about the absurdity of supporting a resolution that expresses no confidence in the mission in Iraq while simultaneously claiming that you “support the troops,” Senator Reid decides to imply that the soldiers McCain has talked to are lying to him.

Amazing the lengths these liberals will go to in order to cover for their cowardly support for defeat in Iraq.

John rhetoricaly asks “isn’t it true ?”5x
Dear John it is not true.
The “mission” that ever changing ,never changing thing,
is not the troops.
Supporting the troops does not require supporting some poor strategy.
Don’t blame the troops for a bad mission.
Blame their leaders.

The Left keeps claiming they support the troops, but not the war and this is proof that they are pathological liars - most of the Left hate the military - they always have!

Now the Democrats are in power in Congress maybe they should pass a law that any soldier not agreeing with their views should face a general Court Martial and absent a retraction of their opposing views should be shot in the field. After all only terrorists have any rights according to the Democrats.

support for the troops is about effect,

not intent.

Sen. Reid is a horse’s ass in my opinion (being from Nevada for the time being) and does not resemble the man he told us he was during his last campaign.

I also know the effect of the “support the troops but not the mission” feeling first hand from my time during Desert Shield/Storm and concur with John McCain’s point of view.

Well said.
