Harold Ford Junior Admits Attending Playboy Parties

Says he “likes football and likes girls.”

Video here.

I don’t see what the big deal is.  I’d have gone to the Playboy Mansion if I got invited.

And football and girls?  Count me in.  Sounds like a normal dude to me.

than again, you’re not a conservative Christian, of which Tenn. has a great number of..

e.g. I don’t have any problem with a congressman been gay neither, but I’m sure been openly gay in a state race in the south would cost you a great percentage of the electorate.

aNONOMISLY on October 24, 2006 at 01:24 pm

aNON then why is it that the Democrats are doing the race baiting.  Sounds like they are the ones with the “gay” problem.

I’d have gone to the Playboy Mansion is I got invited.

You’d probably even sign up to be “oil boy.”

you’re going to have to ask a Democrat.

..but my point is that the Republican party has a big tent.  Something that Rob may regard as of no consequence in how he vote, can well end up been the decinding factor on how a Christian conservative in the “Bible Belt” votes.

...immorality is all relative, and a great number of Christian conservative ..probably most.. consider going to playboy parties a highly immoral thing to do, ..as they do been gay.

Not wanting an innocent baby murdered is different from appreciating the intellectual ability of playmates.

It may be no big deal to most guys and some gals, but to a pretty good size voting block, it’s enough to cause people to think twice.  I don’t think we’ve fully recovered from Clinton yet.

I think the depiction of Tennessee as a red state is a bit off…

rob, in terms of “moral values,” Tenn. is a pretty conservative state.

..who said other wise?

aNONOMISLY on October 24, 2006 at 02:40 pm

And this guy is trying to portray himself as a champion of regular, everyday, working “folk”? And he proudly proclaims that he was invited to “The Mansion”? Someone should explain to him that “jetsetting playboy” is not one of the qualifications most Tenn voters are looking for in the replacement for Dr. William Frist, Senator.

Girls . . . and football?

My god, what’s next - apple pies and Chevrolets?

Ken McCracken on October 24, 2006 at 08:49 pm

I’d have gone to the Playboy Mansion if I got invited.

Hummmmm…

Carol on October 25, 2006 at 03:44 am

Why is Rob’s mom humming at the thought of her son visiting the Playboy mansion?

likwidshoe on October 25, 2006 at 03:46 am

Maybe she got Rob invited to the mansion for his 21’st birthday.

Hef might have owed Rob’s dad a favor from the Alaska fishing trip Hef took in the 60’s.  Rob’s dad might not have called the newspaper or something.

Carol on October 25, 2006 at 04:48 am

He probably just looks forward to a political discussion with the playmates.

Why does Rob’s Mom think he might be gay? Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Sock Puppet on October 25, 2006 at 06:06 am

Sock Puppet:  Whaat!!!  I don’t think Rob might be gay!!  I’d say “Hummm” if anybody I know went to the Playboy Mansion. I meant humm.. he’d be in trouble with his mother if he did go.

Carol on October 25, 2006 at 10:19 am

I’m sure Rob only would go there to play chess or watch football.
