Happy July 4th

On this great day a small country was born that was founded on the unique idea that rights are granted by the Lord, not by a King nor a consensus among your peers.  This step led to the greatest country on Earth and a shining example of freedom that inspired much of the world to emulate her. 

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…

And in the interests of equal time, the Navy gets their shot.  Sorry the video is poor, but it is the 9/11 National Day of Mourning remembered on 9/14/2001.

As you have highlighted, The Unanimous Declaration of Independence of the thirteen united States of America says nothing about ‘the Lord’.

I though you guys were strict constructionists, why are you deliberately trying change the words of our founding fathers?

During the spring and summer of 1942, the United States Government carried out, in remarkably short time and without serious incident, one of the largest controlled migrations in history. This was the movement of 110,000 people of Japanese descent from their homes in an area bordering the Pacific coast into 10 wartime communities constructed in remote areas between the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Mississippi River.

The evacuation of these people was started in the early spring of 1942. At that time, with invasion of the west coast looming as an imminent possibility, the Western Defense Command of the United States Army decided that the military situation required the removal of all persons of Japanese ancestry from a broad coastal strip. In the weeks that followed, both American-born and alien Japanese residents were moved from a prescribed zone comprising the entire State of California, the western half of Oregon and Washington, and the southern third of Arizona.

So how is it that your government can take away the rights that God gave you?

Your “God given rights” are just an illusion that can be taken away at any time.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Instead of hot dogs, beer, and firecrackers, today would be a great day to celebrate by reading the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution. Both of them are very short but they are the two most effective documents on the planet. Most people have actually never read them. Many people have read the Bill of Rights but never the entire Constitution. Now would be a good time to do so.

Take a pad and pen and, as you read them, jot down the things that we are dealing with today that resulted in the Declaration of Independence and the things in the Constitution that are being violated. You will then have a list of the things that are causing the problems that we are now facing.

It is said that only 5% of a population will fight for their country. At this point, you still don’t have to fight. You only have to vote.

ews48.  Good classwork assignment for many here to reflect on.  Buzz:  Read In Defense of Internment.  Many of these people were involved in sedition and active agents for the JAPS.  One island was taken over.  During war, as provided by the constitution, the CINC has power to wage war.  Those who side with the enemy do so at their peril.  Were some innocent civilians included?  Probably, just as some innocents are imprisoned today, just as people are falsely accused of crimes that they could not have committed because they were not there—Duke U students.
