Gulleson Campaign Criticizes Cramer For Running Ads On 9/11 Despite Running Her Own Ads
4:20pm
Hillary Price, communications staffer for liberal House candidate Pam Gulleson, sent out this tweet claiming that their campaign pulled their advertising on 9/11 and criticizing Republican House candidate Kevin Cramer for not doing the same.

This is the sort of childish cheap shot that has become all too typical from the Gulleson campaign, which has become increasingly shrill as they lag behind Cramer in the polls. The world doesn’t stop turning on 9/11. There’s no reason not to run ads that day.
But even if the criticism were valid, it’s worth noting that the Gulleson campaign didn’t actually pull their advertising on 9/11. According to TvEyes.com, Gulleson had ads active:

Don’t count on the Gulleson campaign retracting their statement, or apologizing to Cramer, any time soon.
Update: The Gullleson campaign is now saying that they meant to pull the ads but that not all of the stations got the message.
.@robport In honor of 9/11, Pam told stations not to run ads, but one ran by mistake. Station apologized. What’s @kevincramer‘s excuse?

@robport How about honoring one of our nation’s most difficult days instead of launching an ad campaign that day? #disrespectful

Maybe that’s true and maybe it isn’t, but I can’t imagine a better way to honor the 9/11 anniversary – what has become known as Patriot Day – than a political candidate engaging in democracy and free speech.
In related news, the GUlleson campaign should count their lucky stars that Ms. Price’s following on Twitter can only be counted in the dozens.
