Guilt By Association: Obama Thinks The Cheney Endorsement Matters

Am I the only one chuckling a bit at how hard Obama is working to turn Vice President Cheney’s endorsement of McCain into an issue?  It’s the sort of logic that could only come from a political party so self-righteous in their hatred of someone that they think everyone else is as deranged as they are.

The argument goes something like this:

Obama: Cheney endorsed McCain.  That’s bad.

The Public: Why is that so bad?

Obama:  Because Cheney is evil.

Public: Oh.  Ok.

Who did Obama think Cheney was going to endorse?  Nader?

It’s kinda funny to see a gop headline disparaging guilt by association.

Telling one lie or even consistently lying about one subject…doesn’t make you a liar…

Good Lord! my wife told me as I missed it that Cheney endorsed Obama, I thought what! are we living in bizzaro world today. I did not believe it I told her that had to a misstatement from whom ever . this is the only place that had anything about a Cheney endorsement. As a matter of fact more people like Cheney than likes Bush or McCain or for that matter Obama.  I believe my wife when she said she heard it but it must have been a wrong statement by Obama and Hannity .

rbb: You lie again; with Obama and his terrorist and commie pals, it’s guilt by alliance and shared ideology, not just association.  Can you prove any alliance between Cheney and McCain, other than sharing the ideology of defending American against its enemies?  That’s a good thing for America, but a bad thing for you antiAmerican lefties.

If govt control of the economy were the way to go, the Soviet Union would be the richest, most powerful nation in the history of the world.

Thanks to Obama, America remains the only country where it is illegal to drill our own oil!

The left is so predictable what is their problem do they want government to intrude into their daily lives and tell them what they can do and not do . Been an American all my life 64 years going on 65 and I have never seen the like of pure unadulterated bull shit that is spewed from the left . I think Obama has spent almost a half billion dollars and the money did not come from America, it came from other counties , so that does not bother them it is get-r-done at any cost.
Can Obama really take the oath of president and defend and preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States? He abhors the Constitution so I will say this he will find a way of going around that if he wins. and the people saying they will leave if he is not elected need to do just that, leave.

All I got to say is: Thanks Dick! Coming from the worst vice-president to the worst president ever, that is indeed an outstanding endorsement of John McCain’s qualification to be president.

Nothing wrong with the association, bobby..
Dick Cheney is a true American Hero.
Maybe he’s unpopular with you, and the rest of the Liberal fanatics who have hammered on him and Bush for the last 8 years relentlessly. Until you actually “believe” all the lies you put out.
Yes. Lies.
This Democrat party is “Built” on a bunch of Liars like Rangel, Pelosi, Frank, Reid, and the rest.
And, You want to actually elect on of the bigest strong-arm, stealing Liars I think I’ve ever seen.

What a bunch of “Dummies”..

Yeah… Blodwynn… about your opinion- coming from a country becoming overrun with bomb- chucking Muslim vermin, I can’t give you much credibility there buddy. So STFU.
As for Cheney, I wish to hell we’d have made him President instead of GWB. He has a more complete knowledge of what makes the world tick, who our enemies are and how they think, and just an all- around better grasp of what it takes for America to retain her rightful place as the greatest country in the world than most.
The war might probably lasted half as long- and we’d have already shut Iran and Syria down by now. Our war was undertaken in half-hearted measures that have cost us blood and treasure.
You lefties can say whatever you want, but we were wronged on 9/11, and those who reveled in it should have been lit up like a christmas tree with a couple nukes. As it is, we missed an opportunity to make those godless sonsabitches fear and respect us, and now we have to sit and listen to every thumb-sucking fuckhead talk about “our place in the world”. Say what you want about the Russkies and Chi-coms, they at least understand what it takes to keep the riff-raff in line: “More rubble = less trouble” like one person said.
I need a drink. You idiots exasperate me.

Common mistake Goon, I thought Bush was running again by the way Obama was running his campaign. and Cheney did endorse Bush he did so when he first ran with Bush . and sorry UK person but you have no vote unless Obama pays your way over here and acorn registers you , what is it you people want us to suffer as you do in a Muslim dominated nation you have now, have you people lost your minds. I guess misery enjoys company and you can jump in the lake ,the one with the alligators ! We still punish the crooks here instead of what you people do , you persecute the honest law abiding citizen and let the crook sue if they happen to get hurt stealing you money and wide screen TV’s. I have the right and a recently passed law gives me the right to blow a crook away that is in my home trying to take what I worked for, but you guys are assbackwards and protect the poor criminal . And that is what you want for us ? no thanks !so but out of our business .
